Friday 25 November 2011	Closing date for receipt of completed applications (should you wish to be considered for an Interview Day in December/January)
Wednesday 7 December 2011	Interview Day (for current UoM students only)
Thursday 5 January 2012	Interview Day (for external applicants only)
w/c 9 January 2012	All applicants are asked for FINAL project choices, to enable the Recruitment Committee to ‘match up’ supervisors/applicants
By the end of January 2012	First round of studentship awards to be made to applicants
12 March 2012	Deadline for receipt of applications for consideration for second round of awards.
By the end of March 2012	Second round of studentship awards to be made to applicants

The deadline for applying for the first round of Interview Days has now passed.  If you are interested in applying for any of the projects listed, you are encouraged to submit an application by 12 March 2012. Your application will then be considered for any remaining studentships we have available in a second round of awards (which we anticipate being in around February/March 2012). We will contact you directly about your application and invite you to interview (if appropriate) to discuss projects.

Upon receipt of your completed application, the DTP Recruitment Committee will shortlist applicants and send out invitations to attend one of our Interview Days.  We will contact you about this directly to your nominated email address.   

Interview Day for internal (UoM) applicants - this includes an interview with our Postgraduate Tutors.  As a current UoM student, you are encouraged to make direct contact with your preferred supervisors during the application process to discuss projects.

Interview Day for external applicants - this includes scheduled meetings with your chosen supervisor(s) and an interview with our Postgraduate Tutors.
